About the Lindbergh Chapter

The Lindbergh Chapter, chartered in 1960, has a current membership of over 100 and growing.  It is currently the largest chapter in St. Louis and the state of Missouri.  Its members represent a variety of companies through the Metropolitan St. Louis area.  Lindbergh is a very active chapter and holds monthly dinner meetings at Spazios Banquet Center on Lackland Road.

The Lindbergh members participate in continuing education, at the Chapter, Division, District and International levels.  Programs aimed at increasing administrative professionalism,  personal improvement and other programs which enhance our work related education are also provided.

The Lindbergh Chapter board and committees follow the high professional standards set by IAAP and widely support business education programs in its continuous drive to attain administrative excellence.

Chapter Activities

  • Host the Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) and Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®) review courses for the St. Louis area chapters.

  • Hold monthly dinner meetings with dynamic speakers

  • Chapter newsletter - Communique

  • Community service projects

About IAAP

The International Association of Administrative Professionals is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide. Our mission is to enhance the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development. The association founded in 1942 as the National Secretaries Association to provide a professional network and educational resources for secretarial staff. The association's name was changed in 1998 to the International Association of Administrative Professionals to encompass the large number of varied administrative job titles and recognize the advancing role of administrative support staff in business and government.
